Patchogue Real Estate

    Patchogue is a village on the south shore of Long Island in Suffolk County, New York. The village is named after the Native American Patchogue Tribe, which once inhabited the area.

      Patchogue has one of the most impressive shopping districts on Long Island. In addition to the fine mix of retail stores, there are excellent restaurants, banking facilities and professional offices to serve the people.

      Another staple of the village is the Patchogue Theatre.  Is is a 1200 seat theatre that was built in 1921 as a vaudeville house. Newly renovated in 2000, it was brought back to its original state and is one of the finest performing arts centers on the East Coast. 

      In addition to great shopping and dining, Patchogue has great waterfront activities. The Patchogue River is one of the largest on Long Island and accommodates private yachts and small craft as well as commercial vessels. The Fire Island National Sea Shore is headquartered in the village where ferry services are provided to Watch Hill on Fire Island. Ferry service is also provided to Davis Park on Fire Island.
